PALS Training

ASHI PALS™ Training
E.M.T.A. now  offers ASHI PALS™ Training Courses on-site at your location! PALS Certification is provided through the American Safety and Health Institute, and is accepted by JCAHO, State EMS Agencies, the National Registry of EMTs and other regulating agencies.
E.M.T.A. specializes in providing training at YOUR location.  This allows training to be accomplished with your schedule in mind, and at your convenience.

PALS courses are provided in a two-day 16 hour New Provider Course and in a one-day 8 hour Refresher Course.

In order to complete PALS courses the student must complete a scenario-based evaluation and verification of skills in pediatric advanced life support.  The student must also score 84% or greater on a 50 question final test.

The scenario-based testing requires the student to perform competently as a team leader in a selected case/scenario;
Upper Airway Obstruction Lower Airway Obstruction Tachycardia with Adequate Perfusion
Tachycardia with Inadequate Perfusion Symptomatic Bradycardia Absent / Pulseless Rhythms
Hypovolemic Shock Trauma
